Dave Sautter

Elder
  • I was raised in three communities of the Sandhills of Nebraska, graduated from Mullen High School and then Chadron State College. I have recently retired from teaching in the public school system after 34 years as a mathematics instructor/coach for Dodge Public Schools and Alliance High School. My wife, Cindy, and I married in 2005 after both losing our first spouse. We have a blended family of eight children, four each from a previous marriage, seven of which are married, so count that 15 children plus 17 grandchildren.
  • I enjoy traveling and being with Cindy, golfing, yard work, coaching, home projects, watching athletics and being with family. Can’t forget the HUSKERS!!! I belong to twitter and facebook.  I am inspired by some of the spiritual tweets and posts that ignite the love of Jesus in my heart.
  • Being an elder is something I was asked to do, prayerfully considered and accepted to do as a service for our Lord Jesus Christ and His kingdom. I enjoy serving on the men’s ministry leadership team and leading or contributing to bible study groups and Adult Sunday School class. I also serve through Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  I entrusted my life to Jesus in July of 1967 at Camp Maranatha near Maxwell, NE.
  • 2 Timothy 2:1-3 “You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.”Romans 12:1 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.”
