I was born in Alliance, raised for a good part of my life in the Sandhills East of town and am blessed to have been raised by parents who love the Lord and are both involved in different ministries in Alliance. When I was 12 I gave my life to Jesus. I met my best friend and wife, Brigit, in 1st grade, started dating her when I was 15 years old and married her in 1987. We have two sons, Derek and Matt. Derek and his wife Becky live in Alliance where he is a Machinist at Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. Becky works in Early Childhood Development. Matt and his wife Olivia live in Scottsbluff. Matt is a bank President at Platte Valley Bank in Morrill, and Olivia is a Registered Nurse. We have two wonderful grandchildren in Broox and Tomi Harris. I have been in the Agricultural lending industry since 1989 and Brigit has been an Educator since 1991. We both love to work with our hands, whether it be remodeling, landscaping, or building furniture and cabinetry. We also both share a passion for working with adolescents and young couples. The Lord led to us starting a ministry in 2019 called Whole Hearts Ministries in which we mentor couples and singles to allow Jesus Christ to heal emotional and spiritual pain in their lives.
