I, Heather Zander, am a dirty rotten stinkin' sinner. But God, being rich in mercy, saved me through the blood of Christ, and today I enjoy fellowship with my Creator.
I grew up in Wisconsin, and was introduced to Jesus and the Gospel at a Vacation Bible School. I eagerly embraced Christ as my savior and enjoyed the privilege of a Christian upbringing. However, starting in my pre-teens I was woefully influenced by the trappings of the world and was not living the victorious life I was called to. Again, God mercifully pursued me.
I married Mike Zander in the late 1900s, and had three beautiful children. While the kids were still small, we moved to LaGrange WY to attend Frontier School of the Bible. From there we served as missionaries in Provo Utah, supporting church planting efforts, and operating a Christian radio station for 14 years until the fall of 2025.
And through the grace of God, He kindly brought us to the Alliance Berean Church family. What a journey!
Numbers 11:23 delights me. God confronts a weary and desperate Moses by asking, "Is the Lord's arm too short?" It's a jarring rhetorical question that reminds us that God is faithful and will do what He promises. He promises that all who call upon the Lord will be saved. Today is the day of salvation, friend. If you haven't already done so, call on Him today.
