I was raised on a farm north of Alliance and grew up in a traditional church in town. However, I would say that I really didn't understand the gospel of God's grace until after high school through the people and ministry of Alliance Berean! Praise God for this church!
I have been around since 2008 but joined the staff in 2025. Between those years I married my cherished wife Courtney (2014) and we have four very different, high-energy kids (some say we have our own youth group at home!). We also have a yellow lab who lives to play fetch. We did some missionary work in Latin America, worked with youth, and pastored Chadron Bible Church for six years before accepting God's call back home to focus on youth ministry at ABC.
Six adjectives to describe me are Welcomer, Adventurer, Conscientious, Organizer, Doer, and Visionary. For fun and to be refueled I like hunting & fishing, going on long walks or hikes (with my wife or with Jesus), gardening, and watching college football (go Skers!). The best part about my job is doing life in a vibrant Christian community!
P.S. If you ask me, hotdogs are definitely NOT sandwiches and YES, pineapple DOES belong on pizza!! :)
